Originally from Sweden, Jens studied Politics and Philosophy at Oxford before embarking on a career in journalism.

In early 2003 Jens moved to Kuwait from New York, where he worked on media-rights and ownership structures. In Kuwait photoghraphy assignments mounted and by the invasion Jens was, together with Olga Craig, the Sunday Telegraph covering the southern invasion of Iraq.

Jens continued to work as in Iraq as an un-embedded journalist for 4 months and afterwards moved to Beirut to continue covering the Middle East. Another period of 4 months in Iraq during early 2004 followed but was interrupted by a rapidly worsening security situation. Between 2004 and 2006 he lived in Beirut where he continued working on local stories.

Jens now lives and works in London. Find our more about his other work here: www.jensmunch.com
